Day 2 in ICU - 5/20/26
Sadly but expected the swelling is increasing in her nose & eye area, which is causing additional pain & discomfort. It should peak today or tomorrow and then get better from there.
Lots of sleeping & resting are happening. The swelling is still making it challenging to see and is easier to keep her eyes closed.
Both CT & MRI from yesterday all look good!
With her in the ICU she does have a nurse around the clock with doctors checking in on her. All good reports so far.
The spinal cord drain is still in place & being monitored.
Lots of fluids & ice chips have been consumed with some soft foods eaten. She’s also been enjoying some Jamba Juice, as it’s right across the street.
Her nauseousness has greatly improved as they’ve been working on using different drugs & amounts.
No timeframe has been given on when she we’ll be moved into a room and out of the ICU.
Tinna also remains in good hands with her sister there the entire time. Her sister flew in before surgery and is staying in a hotel a few blocks away. We are so grateful for Cynthia and can’t thank her enough for her love & support!
*Note: The daily blog updates will happen everyday around noon. The bottom of this page will take you to the next or previous one.
Kylie is both reading the menu to her & using it as a fan for Tinna
