Day 1 of Recovery - 5/19/26
Tinna remains in the ICU & is in stable condition.
Some sleep was achieved through the night but was challenging with the amount of discomfort & pain from the surgery.
She had a CT scan last night & everything looked good.
Nose & eye swelling has started witch is part of the healing process but is creating additional discomfort in the eyes. Some vision is also being impaired.
She will have an MRI later today.
Tinna does have her phone but is still challenging to use & see. Feel free to leave comments below as she will be looking at them when she can.
Tinna has her sister by her side in the ICU today.
The girls went to school this morning and Kylie plans to attend soccer try outs this evening.
We are deeply moved & extremely grateful for the Meal Train program that Carrie Ramage has set up for us and so many soccer families & other families have contributed to.
We will be using the raised funds to both help us grab food on the go & pay for hospital costs.
Here is a link to that: Fiori Family Meal Train
Afternoon Update:
Very little has changed. Lots of resting & still managing swelling in the nose & eyes area.
She did have an MRI today, which was not fun at all.
Tinna will remain in the ICU into tomorrow. She should be moved in a day or so to a more comfortable room.
*Note: The daily blog updates will happen everyday around noon. The bottom of this page will take you to the next or previous one.
