Dumped Body Found in Benicia

5:00 AM - Monday - 2/9/26

A 911 caller stopped along Lake Herman Rd and called in a small vegetation fire, in the are of Lake Herman

FD arrived on scene and quickly put out the fire to discover a deceased body

Solano SO (Sheriffs Office) responded to the call & will be investigating

6:30 AM - Part of Lake Herman Rd will be shut down to allow Law Enforcement & Fire Dept to investigate this incident

2/20/26 Update - A comment was left on this post & deleted from a female that said this was her boyfriend. She implied how crazy Vallejo is. Leading me to believe he was from or this incident started there.

I've also got a verbal confirmation from Solano Sheriff's office that this is an on going homicide investigation

A side note: I'm disappointed with Solano Sheriff's Office in lack of communication to the public. It's understandable they can not release a lot of information during this investigation but they have release NONE!
